OA Salary Increase Multiyear Plan
The University of Oregon is implementing the following multiyear salary increase plan for eligible officers of administration:
- Effective October 1, 2024: 4 percent across-the-board increases.
- Effective September 1, 2025: 3 percent across-the-board increases.
- Effective September 1, 2026: 3.75 percent salary pool for merit-based increases broken down as follows:
- OAs who meet expectations in their most recent performance review will receive at least a 2% increase.
- 0.25% of the pool is reserved for vice presidents and deans to recognize extraordinary performance within their portfolios.
- The remainder of the pool is available for unit-level merit recognition.

September 2026 Merit-based Salary Increase Timeline

Timeline
- OA performance reviews need to be completed before merit increase decisions are made.
- OA performance reviews will need to be conducted and recorded as complete in Banner by July 31, 2026.
- OA merit process occurs in summer 2026.
- Merit increases will be applied starting with the September 2026 paycheck.

Eligibility
Eligible OA Positions | Ineligible OA Positions |

Employee started the OA position on or before February 28, 2026. | Employee will start the OA position March 1, 2026 or later. |
Ongoing and fixed term positions, including limited-term positions such as post-retirement positions. Eligible positions on leave. | Individually negotiated contracts, such as coaches and other pay agreements, including Sergeants. |
Positions anywhere in the OA salary band or above the band maximum. | The OA is on a formal performance improvement plan. |
OAs in an interim position and on leave from an eligible OA position, are eligible. The merit percent increase received by the employee will be applied to both their ongoing and their interim position’s salary. |
